A nine-year-old boy took matters into his hands to ensure that he did not remember the class and took his parents’ truck to school after remembering his bus ride, the police confirmed.
Mecca Police Sergeant Braden Blackburn told Fox News Digital that he received a call about a driver from a worried citizen on Wednesday morning, who appeared to be very young to drive. ”
Blackburn stated that the caller stated that the driver appeared to be 10–11 years old and was described in a white chevy pickup truck.
The officers were unable to find the truck, but eventually located the truck and the boy in their primary school parking.

Blackburn said the boy had run the truck from his home in a suburb of Mecca, KS, Wichita in his primary school, which was on a drive of about three miles.

The boy told the officials that he had missed the bus and his father was already at work and his mother was out of the city, so he took the truck to ensure that he did not miss the school.
Blackburn said they parked the truck in a stall and said “they parked better than most people’s parks.”

“Typically, we receive these calls about young high school children, some have obtained their driver’s licenses, mostly. It was a new to us.”

Blackburn said there were no conflicts or traffic issues with the boy’s small drive.
Police officials also did not write any quotations, Blackburn said, saying that he is “sure he is in trouble with his parents,” and they will allow the parents to determine how to handle it.
