For the Vinypeg Jets, the East-East pick Chase Lucius announced his retirement on Tuesday due to a hereditary tissue disorder.

Lucius stated that he was detected of Ehrers-Danlos syndrome, which affects the joint and supporting connective tissue to the joints and organs in the body. He had dealt with joint injuries over the last several years, both in maintaining and recovering them.
“I felt that I was just inauspicious. Lucius Lawrence is a native of Kansas. It was a product of the US National Team Development Program and later participated in the University of Minnesota (2021–22). Jets selected him in a total of 18th in the 2021 draft.
He played for mousse for the last three sessions, the time was missing due to injury. He had nine points in 25 matches this season, but was not in lineup since early February. Head coach Mark Morrison at the time said that Lucius has a medical condition that requires a slightly more evaluation. ,
