Despite late fireworks from Ravindra Jadeja (32* 22) and MS Dhoni (11 runs 11), CSK decreased. Dhoni gave him hope in six and 19th over, but with the need of 20 in the final, Sandeep Sharma accepted only 13, dismissing Dhoni to seal RR’s victory with a surprising Shimron Hetmier.
Earlier, Nitish Rana’s 81 out of 36 balls, which had 10 fours and five sixes, set RR for more than 200 clan. However, CSK fought back in the death overs, in which Matshesh Pathirana, Noor Ahmed and Khalil Ahmed took two wickets in each, limiting RR to 182/9.
Stark’s five -wicket powers to win Delhi’s capitals
Mitchell Starc registered her young woman T20 Five-Vicque Hall (5/35), as Delhi’s capitals excluded Sunrisers Hyderabad for 163 for 163 in 18.4 overs in Visakhapatnam.
Delhi’s chase was founded by FAF do Plessis (27 runs 27) and Jake Fraser-Macgurk (38), who placed at the inaugural stand of 81 runs. Despite the two quick wickets of leg-spinner Zeshan Ansari, Abhishek Porl (34) and Triston Stabs (21) directed Delhi’s house with four overs.
Sunrisers’ innings suffered an early shock as Abhishek Sharma’s run-out triggered a collapse. Stark removed Ishan Kishan and Nitish Reddy in an over before dismissing the Travis Head for 22. Antik Verma’s explosives 74 and Henrik Klassen’s 32 hoped for Hyderabad, but Kuldeep Yadav (3/22) and Fraser-Mackgurk’s stunning catch ended their resistance.
