If this anecdote can be supported by controlled clinical trials, it can tell us a lot about how the brain processes anticipation and reward – and can also suggest all new ways to deal with addiction. By targeting the regions of the brain responsible for the reward signs from food, GLP-1 drugs can also reduce people who get people from other things, such as drug addiction.
