This can be good news for 49ers.
Matthew Stafford wants a contract expansion and Ram clearly does not want to give him one, so he has allowed him and his agent to look for a business according to NFL Network Tom Pelisero. Which means that Stafford cannot play in NFC West in the next season and potentially Ram may take a step back.
If Ram Trade Stafford, they can sign Aaron Roders, but he is more than Stafford. It is likely that Ram wants to decrease in quarterbacks as the rest of his team is extremely young. Think Puka Naikua, Kyen Williams, Jared Vers and Braden Fiscé.
Perhaps Rama Minnesota will trade Stafford for Vikings so that he can replace Sam Daranold. His head coach, Kevin O’conale, coached Stafford on Ram and is very familiar with him. In return, Vikings sent his first round pick to Ram from 2024-JJ Macarthi.
Or, Ram may try to trade New York giants for a package to trading Stafford which will include a third pick in this year’s draft and then Miami Quarterback will take the quarterback camphor ward or Colorado Quarterback Shader Sanders.
Either way, it seems that RAMS NFC West may have the only team, which may be with an initial quarterback on a fraudulent deal. Meanwhile, 49ers are ready to make Brock Puree one of the highest paid players in NFL.
I feel that Ram will trade him instead of him.
