That’s how Vijay Mallya and Sameera Tyabjee first met, and the duo soon fell in love. This was followed by Mallya’s dreamy proposal to Tyabjee mid-air! The whirlwind romance led to a quick wedding the same year, and soon after, the couple welcomed a baby boy — Siddhartha Mallya.But their fairy tale love story didn’t last forever. After their marriage, the couple moved to England and their marriage later got rocky. Rumours of personal clashes and growing differences started to swirl and eventually, their marriage ended.
Childhood crush reignited: Rekha enters the picture
As per reports, after his first marriage ended, Mallya connected with his childhood crush Rekha. At that time, Rekha, herself was navigating a rocky relationship, and had two children– son Kabir and daughter Laila– from her previous marriage. Rekha and Vijay soon fell in love and in 1993, they tied the knot.

Insiders say the duo have been living together in his plush Hertfordshire mansion, however, Mallya has neither confirmed nor denied the rumours.
