Summary: It was a night that was of 14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi, whose 38-ball 101 saw 38-ball 101 to extinguish Rajasthan Royals for a major win by Yashsvi Jaiswal and Shubman Gill’s batting performances.
It was an evening where India’s batting talent was at the forefront of both innings. If Shubman Gill and B Sai Reformson appear to be two young blocks, who want to pursue India’s proud batting heritage, which is bound by the shots of the textbook in classical mold, then in the run chase, 14 -year -old Vaibhav Suryavanshi showed that the modern day T20 is about a century which came in 35 delivery.
Seeing this from the other end, Yashasvi Jaiswal, was another special talent, already a domestic name, which made an unbeaten 70 as Rajasthan Royals, chased a target of 210 runs that the Titans of Gujarat set up for 25 balls and in hand with 8 wickets.
Power and muscle
Vaibhav and Jaiswal Love kills cricket balls. There is something about loud tads that they love when their Willow comes in contact with the ball. This gives them an adrenaline crowd.
When it moves high, as it happened in Jaipur on Monday, they become a unique force, which also leaves the opponents less on questions. This is when Gujarat came out with 209 runs for rescue.
In his career as a player and as a coach, Rahul Dravid has seen many talents. But as Suryavanshi sent white balls elevated to the dark sky, he would follow its trajectory scattered with his jaw. From Mohammad Siraj to Ishant Sharma, Rashid Khan to Washington Sundar, none of the teenagers of Gujarat were spared by Suryavanshi. Perhaps, it was an unknown package about her that made Gujarat wrong by bowling in slots, which was liked by the left-handed player. With a natural nature to hit the sixes, Suryavanshi did not require any other invitation as runs. There was such a deluse of sixes and fours, before Gujarat realized what they killed, it all ended. Suryavanshi’s attack was such that Jaiswal played another Bella, remaining in the shadow to finish unbeaten at 70.

The night was of Suryavanshi, who batted right for his age. He was not more than the occasion and when he was near the three-end mark, he did not show signs of flinching. He was 64 runs off 28 balls before reaching 100 in the next seven delivery with 6, 4, 6, 4, 4, 4, 6, 6. It was no less than Rashid Khan, it was his favorite bridge shot, helping him reach the landmark. Blessed with his stance, he is blessed with the ability to take the length early and if the Gujarat pacers tried to scare the 14 -year -old child by targeting their bodies, he sent it to ropes on 11 occasions and feasted on them.
Gill and Sai, The Kill Joy
Unlike the Rajasthan Royals pair, their counterparts Gill and Sai Reforms are all about the fiery and grace. As has happened so far, it was another outing, where both of them set up the game with a 93 -run stand for Gujarat, which came in 10.2 overs. With a base intact, Jose Butler went to number 3 to finish the job with the help of mid-order, as Gujarat put 209/4 when he rarely appeared to hit the top gear. They may not put further pressure.

As usual, there was a lot of damage in the powerplay where Gill and Sai Reformson had the most feas on the eye -catching borders. The left -handed batsman started all this for the first time with a beautiful flick from Jofra Archer on his toes. From Mahesh Thekshana, he brought out the cover-drive, who scorched the surface of Sawai Aad Singh Singh before offering life by Shimron Hetmier. He will bring out what is changing in his trademark which is far from Archer and Thekashana. In addition to the amazing transfer of weight from the front leg to the back, it was the time that stood in both shots.
Gill was not being left behind. With three gradual delivery from Yudhwir Singh and Archer, he came in his Regal Best with several limits with his wrist work. The first was a short-arm bridge that went on mid-wicket. Then a fore-hand bridge came, which increased on the mid-on fielder. And the pick came out of the pick archer, where he stood tall and brought a textbook directly out, which spread to the fence as Gujarat. From the seventh to the 12th over, he batted at the autopylyt mode sales risks before Sai Sudarshan fell.
Subsequently, all this was about sealing their rights. Gill brought his fifty out of 29 delivery and carried on his speed as he opened his shoulders to hit four sixes as Butler took some time to go to his eyes. In 7 out of 10 delivery, the England opener started his attack after Vanindu Hasrananga, killed three sixes and a four balls. From there, despite losing Gill for 84, Butler ensured that Gujarat found some big overs to finish at 209/4.
Brief score: Gujarat Titans lost in 209/4 20 overs (Gill 84, Butler 50) in 15.5 overs from Rajasthan Royals 212/2 (Suryavanshi 101, Jaiswal 70) by eight wickets.
