There are now 870 billionaires in the US, growth of 70 from the previous year, while China is with 823 billionaires, which adds only 9 to its tally, but reverses a two -decade decline in the billionaire numbers. Together, both these countries dominate the global billionaire landscape.

India ranks third with 284 billionaires, connecting 13 new billionaires this year. Singapore watched a notable growth, crossing Indonesia, Thailand and Japan, jumping 13th in three places. Other countries showing progress include Russia, Canada, Türkiye and Mexico. India has a remarkable number of notable billionaires in 42 numbers in countries like America, although there is less count of immigrant billionaires (6) in the country. Major areas include healthcare, consumer goods and industrial products. In particular, Gautam Adani, while finishing 18th at the global level, saw a 13% increase in money, while Mukesh Ambani remains India’s richest person.
