The US Army has started an attempt to determine who can be able to manufacture a truly useful quantum computer within a decade, and what can be good for it.
There are currently more than six dozen companies that manufacture quantum computers, but it is clear which of them will eventually produce devices that have a concrete effect on American industries and economy. The US Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) has now started a program to find out.
