Measles outbreak continues to spread throughout America, discussing how the best to protect children and other high -risk groups from disease.
While the West Texas has been focused on the largest outbreak – with cases of over 220 till March 11 – the virus has also emerged in many other states.
Below is a state-by-state randon where American measles detected and number of cases. Fox News Digital will continue to update this list as new data has been released.

Alaska
According to the health department of the Alaska Department, the state registered a case of measles in an unnatural adult traveling abroad in January 2025.

California
Five measles cases have been confirmed in California as of March 11.
Georgia
A total of three measles cases have been confirmed in Atlanta in 2025.
The first case was reported in January; In February, two additional family members signed the virus.
Kentki
On 26 February, Kentaki Department for Public Health announced a strong case of measles before February 2023.
Health officials said the adult had recently traveled to an area internationally, which was in an area with ongoing measles transmission.

Maryland
On 9 March, the Maryland Department of Health and Howard County Health Department announced a confirmed case of measles.
The person recently traveled internationally.
new Jersey
A total of three measles cases have been reported in New Jersey till 7 March.
The Health Department said, “There is no community transmission of measles in New Jersey at this time.”

new Mexico
As of March 11, there have been 33 measles cases in the state – 32 in Lee County and an AD County.
One death has been reported, an adult who was not vaccinated and allegedly not taken medical help.
New york
A total of three cases have been reported in New York – two of them in New York City and one in the state of New York outside the city.

Oklahoma
According to the Oklahoma State Department of Health, two measles cases were reported in Oklahoma on 11 March in Oklahoma. Individuals with symptoms reported exposure to the outbreak of Texas and New Mexico.
Genealogy
As of 7 March, a measles case in the state has been confirmed.
According to the Philadelphia Department of Public Health, the patient was an untouched child from Montgomery County.

Rhode Island
The state confirmed a measles case in January 2025, which was the first after 2013.
