Europe’s first universal theme park is to open under a deal in Bedford in 2031 that will bring an estimated £ 50BN in the UK economy.
Visitors are likely to see a ride based on the studio’s most famous blockbusters, including minions, jaws and jurassic parks.
The attraction is scheduled to create about 20,000 jobs during the construction period, with 8,000 jobs available in hospitality and creative industries.
Announcing the plans, Sir Kir Stmper demanded to attack an optimistic note between the market turmoil and talk on domestic strength after Donald Trump’s global trade tariff.
He said, “It is going to put Bedford on the map for millions – film lovers, people are coming here for fun, people manufacture their careers,” they said during the city visit.
“You know, people told me, the government will be a roller-coaster, and I can testify it.
“I don’t think it’s enough what they mean. But look, it is our plan to change action, bring investment, opportunities, development, jobs and to be a pleasure for Britain.”
Multi-Billion-Pund investment has been agreed between Universal, Government and Local Council, and is part of Labor’s plan for change, aims to create development and job opportunities in the UK.
In the 496-acre premises, guests will also be able to enjoy entertainment sites, a 500-brilliant hotel and a retail and dining area.

As part of the plan to create economic development, Universal, a major American film production and distribution company, has committed to work with local colleges and universities.
With the first universal-branded theme park and resort in the site Europe, they expect the site to generate about £ 50 billion for the economy by 2055, with 8.5 million visitors expect in their first year-the biggest visitor in UK became the biggest visitor attraction.
Mark Woodbury, Chairman and CEO of Universal Destinations and Experience, said: “Bringing a world class theme park and resort in the United Kingdom is a tremendous opportunity and is part of our strategy to present universal brands and experiences for new audiences around the world.
“We appreciate incredible support for our proposed project and are ready to bring it to life in the years ahead.”
