A Foreign Ministry spokesman, after Tehran’s visit to the United Nations Nuclear Sentinel Head of Tehran earlier this month on Monday, a spokesman for the Ministry of External Affairs said that a technical team of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) had come to interact with nuclear experts in Iran.
Esmail Bagei said during a weekly press conference, “The delegation reached Iran and will hold technical talks with Iranian experts today, including security measures.”
Last week, the United Nations Nuclear Sentinel Team, where technical level negotiations were also held in Iran for technical talks.
Following the conclusion of these negotiations, Iran’s Foreign Minister said IAEA experts could attend the next round of Iran-US nuclear dialogue on Saturday.
Visiting Tehran on 17 April, IAEA chief Rafael Gossi said that his agency could help achieve positive results in talks.
In 2018, Trump withdrew to the US from the 2015 nuclear deal between Iran and the leading world powers, which later crossed the uranium enrichment boundaries of the deal and limited the inspection of the IAEA.
In February, IAEA released a report stating that the current situation is “serious concern” because the Tehran weapon near the grade, enriching uranium up to 60% purity. Tehran has long refused to demand nuclear weapons.
