Ultimate Table Tennis has decided to move away from the draft process and will host auction for the first time in the history of the league for the sixth season.
Eight league teams- Ahmedabad SG Pipers, Chennai Lions, Dabang Delhi, Goa Challengers, Jaipur Patriots, U Mumba TT, Pune Jaguar, and Kolkata Thunder Bladors will participate in the auction with a total of 56 players.
The auction pool has large foreign names such as World No. 13 Berndate Szox, Olympian Aruna Quadry and Alvaro Rawobals, Chinese Padler Fans Saiki while Manika Batra and Harmeet Desai will lead Indian players in the pool.
Among the 56 players in the auction pool, Youngsters Dia Chitale and Yashaswini Ghorpade-India lead a group of women single players-tinez sensational sensation Sindrela Das, and former U-17 World No. 1 Pius Jain 25 Rising Indian stars.
UTT season 6 auction format
The auction is scheduled to take place on Tuesday, April 15 in Mumbai.
All eight teams have been allocated 5 million virtual tokens to bid the players, along with a one -time right (RTM) card to maintain a player from the last season by matching the final bid price.
Players will be divided into four base price category-poop A (11 lakh tokens), Pool B (7 lakh), Pool C (4 lakhs), and Pool D (2 lakh). The bid will follow a structured format with an increase of 10,000 tokens.
