Washington: Donald Trump is in “excellent health”, an assessment of a doctor at the White House said on Sunday, when he did his first annual medical checkup since returning to the US President.
The 78-year-old Republican Trump has repeatedly proud of his own strength after starting the second term, while his 82-year-old Democratic Eastern Joe Biden has been mocked as a dikripit and mentally.
Read the letter of a doctor shared by the White House,
It noted some abnormalities that involved Trump’s skin damage, as well as a gunshot wound in a murder attempt in July last July.
A colonoscopy had revealed last year that Trump had diverticulosis-small pouches in the Honorable-and a gentle polyp, report stated in the report, saying that a follow-up examination was recommended in three years.
It said that Trump is taking four medicines: for two cholesterol control, aspirin for cardiac prevention, and a steroid skin cream.
Overall, the report was praised by Trump’s health, praising his “active lifestyle” and citing “frequent victory in golf events” – a common pride of the billionaire who also avoids alcohol and cigarettes.
However, he is known for indulging in fast food and enjoys the famously well done stake-although he appears quite thin during his first term.
The latest report placed its current weight below 243 in 2019 at 224 pounds (101.6 kg).
Trump said on Friday that he felt “very good shape” after his examination at Walter Reid Military Hospital in Washington suburbs.
“I took a cognitive test. I don’t know what you have to tell you except every answer,” he told reporters in the Air Force.
Conduct health claims
Trump has been accused of lack of openness about his health despite a huge interest in the welfare of the US Commander-in-Chief.
The White House had earlier stated that the President’s physician Scene Barbabella would give a readout of the physical and it would “definitely” provide a full report.
But Trump’s individual and White House doctors have claimed many times about his health.
In 2015, during Trump’s first presidential post, his doctor Herold Bornstein issued a letter stating that the tycoon would “unevenly, the healthy person elected to the Presidential post.”
Bornstein later told CNN Trump himself “fixed the entire letter. I did not write that letter.”
In his first term, the doctor of the White House, Ronnie Jackson, said in 2018 that Trump with a healthy diet “could be 200 years old.”
Jackson’s report then suggested that Trump should target to lose 10 to 15 pounds, but he said that he was usually in “excellent health”, saying that there were no signs of “any cognitive issues”.
A year later, an examination found that the 6 -foot -3 (1.9 m) Trump weighs 243 pounds, which was up to seven pounds shortly before taking the office, technically obese he was obese.
Age became a major issue in the 2024 election, when Trump and Biden faced as the oldest major party candidates in American history.
Biden was forced to get out of the race after a stumble performance in a TV debate against Trump in June, which expressed concern over his cognitive health at the top of the agenda.
