Ever since he took over in January 2025, US President Donald Trump has been making quite literally changes in the government. From going to reject transgender identity, several changes have been made in the previous month, ranging from going to rejecting mutual tariffs with American trades. Now, the Trump administration has touched Aadhaar with a new case. This has introduced some changes in the green card application process for married couples in terms of updated forms, marriage interviews and increased financial revelations.

Now, according to the United States citizenship and immigration service (USCIS), a green card holder has the right to live permanently in the US, provided that they do not take any action that will “make you delete under the immigration law.” This includes breaking laws and not filing tax.
What are the changes in the green card marriage?
One of the several ways to get American Green Card is to marry an American citizen or green card holder. Then, the person can sponsor his spouse for a green card and get them a permanent residence in the US.
