ICYMI: Trump tells Britain to buy chlorine chicken from us if he wants relief relief
Donald Trump has indicated that Britain should allow the chlorine-washed chicken in the UK markets in the UK markets in the UK markets.
In a statement published with the tariff declaration, the White House stated: “UK maintains non-science-based standards that severely restrict American exports of safe, high quality beef and poultry products.”
It suggested that Britain’s ban on chlorinated chicken was between a boundary of “non-tariff barriers” that limits America’s ability to trade.
The UK has long refused to allow the import of chlorine-laid chicken from the US, as REWS in November reiterated his opposition to any concession on the issue.
