    • Regarding the tariff, the US President says, “I don’t want them to be higher.”
    • The markets violently reacted to the onset of high tariffs on 2 April.
    • Trump says that China expresses optimism on reaching a deal.

The United States President Donald Trump on Thursday indicated a possible end for the tight-for-tat tariff hike between the US and China, which shocks the markets, and may have to wait a deal at the fate of social media platform Ticketkok.

Trump told reporters about tariffs at the White House, “I don’t want them to go high because at a certain point you make it where people don’t buy.”

“So, I don’t want to go higher or I don’t want to go to that level even.

Trump’s comments further pointed to a low hunger for a rapidly high-Parboard tariff on dozens of countries after reacting violently to his introduction to his introduction on 2 April.

The Republican President slapped 10% tariff on most of the goods entering the country, but delayed in the implementation of high levy, pending dialogue.

Nevertheless, they increased rates on Chinese imports, now to 145%, Beijing retaliated with his counter-types. Last week, China stated that “the number game with tariff” “will not answer”, indicating that cross–board rates will not increase further.

Trump said that China was in touch since the tariff was imposed and expressed optimism that they could reach a deal.

While the two sides are in touch, sources told the Reuters that the free-flow, high-level exchange that would lead to a deal, has been largely absent.

Talking with reporters, Trump repeatedly refused to specify the nature of conversation between countries or did he directly include Chinese President Xi Jinping.

Trump has repeatedly extended the legal time limit for China-based loadens to divide American assets of the short video app used by 170 million Americans. On Thursday, he said that the possibility of a spin-off deal would wait until the business issue is resolved.

Trump said, “We have a deal for Tikokok, but it will be subject to China, so we will delay this deal.
