Ukrainian President Volodimier Zelansky and President Donald Trump made a “very good” phone call on Wednesday, during which the pair discussed the initial agreement with Russian President Vladimir Putin a day earlier.
Trump announced on his social media platform Truth Social, “Completed a very good telephone call with Ukraine President Zelancesi.” “Most of the discussion was based on a call with President Putin to align both Russia and Ukraine in terms of their requests and needs.
“We are on a lot of track,” said Trump.

Zelansky said the call was “positive, very important and frank” in a long statement posted on social media on Wednesday afternoon.
The Ukrainian president said, “I thanked them for a good and productive start for the work of Ukrainian and American teams in Jeddah on 11 March – this meeting of the teams helped a lot to end the war.” “We agreed that Ukraine and the United States should continue working together to achieve a real end for war and permanent peace.
