President Donald Trump said on Sunday he was convinced to reach a deal on Tikok, before the April 5 deadline for his Chinese owner’s bidence, to see popular short video apps or to see it banned in the United States.
“We have a lot of potential buyers. Tikok is very interested in,” Trump told reporters on the Air Force a ship.
He said, “We have many people who want to buy Tikok.
China on Thursday suggested a suggestion to Trump that it could offer a non-Chinese firm to offer tariffs to obtain Beijing approval for the sale of Tiktok.
Trump said that this month was interacting with four groups interested in achieving the United States of America platform, with 170 million US users.
An American law has ordered Tikokok to separate or ban Bidens in the United States, which can take advantage of the app to spy on Beijing Americans or affect American public opinion.
The law made effective on January 19, a day before Trump’s inauguration, but quickly announced a delay to allow it to be operated.
This delay is scheduled to end on 5 April.
Trump said, “There will be a deal with Tiktok, I am very certain,” when asked if he expanded the deadline, there was no deal.
Trump tried to ban Tiktok in the United States due to national security concerns during his first term at the White House, but heated for it.
He said, “Selfishly, I won the young votes with 36 points. Republicans usually do not do very well with the young crowd, and I think a lot of it could be tick,” he said.
