
New York: US President Donald Trump is facing a new wave of protests in cities across the United States, as thousands of protesters take them to the streets against their hard-line policies.
In New York, people gathered outside the city’s main library, taking hints to the US President with slogans such as “No Kings in America” โโand “Opposition to Tyrani”.
Many people targeted the exile of Trump’s unspecified migrants, “no snow, no fear, welcome here,” a reference to the role of immigration and customs enforcement agency in scoring migrants.
In Washington, the protesters expressed concern that Trump was threatening long -respected constitutional criteria, including the right to the appropriate process.
The administration “is a direct attack on the idea of โโthe rule of law and is the idea that the government should stop abusing people living here in the United States,” Benjamin Douglas, 41, told AFP outside the White House.
