President Trump has spent the last decade railing against fake news, a phrase that is now deeply inherent in our culture.
He has accused the media that he should be tirelessly biased against him – which is largely true – and journalists have been called by name. He has sued such outlets in the form of ABC News (which paid him $ 16 million), CBS and Des Mine Register.
He alleged that Politico received payment to him negatively – it was discovered that these were regular memberships, and also for the New York Times – and then canceled several memberships.

But in a controversial speech in the Department of Justice, Trump moved beyond ever. He said the Times, Washington Post and the major network were engaged in “illegal” reporting.
The President did not specify what was illegal about it. But perhaps there is a short distance between Trump’s allegations and future prosecution?
The DOJ speech attracted heavy coverage. The Times stated that they separated the lawyers and former prosecutors from their prepared remarks in a site dedicated to the fair administration of justice. He also accused the previous leadership of the department of trying to destroy it and former President Joseph R. Biden Junior was declared the head of a ‘crime’ family. “

The Post quoted Trump as saying that his enemies “began to be cheated and disruptive operations, broke a large-scale law, persecuted my family, employees and supporters, raided my house, Mar-e-Lago, and did everything within his power to prevent me from becoming President of the United States.” Paper said: “It is rare for a President to visit the Department of Justice-which has maintained security measures between the White House and the Law Enforcement Agency in the post-Watergate era to ensure that the politics does not interfere with the law enforcement investigation.”
But here is an attractive part.
The Times and The Post did not mention Trump’s “illegal” reporting charge. It did not give much as a paragraph. Could not squeeze it (I say in a gest, because the space is unlimited in the digital age).
I see two possible explanations for this.
One is that he is very angry with the President’s allegation, which he considers false, that they do not want to give it any oxygen and share it with the readers. In other words, when the President is shooting the arrow at you, it is best to deflect them.
The second is that they fear that there may be an prosecution below the road – Given the history of Trump’s civil cases – and do not want to cross it on this issue. In short, they are afraid of the President.

The allegations of President Trump of “illegal” reporting by major outlets were not initially completed with any real type of direct direct, reprimanding. (Pool through AP)
But here is the matter: If two major newspapers of the nation are not going to defend themselves on charges of illegality, then who is? By censoring Trump’s comments, how can they expect any support when they will not stand for themselves?
Meanwhile, over the weekend, the President ended the voice of the US and Radio -free Europe with an executive order for the purpose of his original agency – whose special advisor is former Erizona candidate Kari Lake.
Trump put 1,300 journalists, officers and other employees on indefinite leave. Their argument is that they are part of the radical remaining. He is a long -time critic of VOA, once called the “voice of the Soviet Union”.

VOA’s Pentagon correspondent Carla Babba posted this: “A silenting of VOA will be celebrated by communists, autochts and Ayatollah, whose lies we throw light on lies.”
VOA was launched during World War II and credited for successfully competing for the promotion of the enemy for decades. But there is a legitimate debate of who is the “enemy” these days, given a trump -friendly relationship with Vladimir Putin.
What is more, people were in 1942 because they were not around their radio.
