Two New England True Crime reporters have filed a lawsuit against the Massachusetts State Police, who is reportedly preventing them from covering the news outside the courthouse, where Karen read the second murder case in John O’Kif’s death this week.
The lawsuit stems from the “buffer zone” ordered by a court to keep the protesters at some distance, but reporters alleged that the police harassed them inside the zone, even though it should not apply to those who are not protesting.
The case is the names of Massachusetts State Superintendent of Police Jeffrey Noble and MSP Sergeant. Michael Hardman and two additional anonymous state soldiers.

“In the trial of Karen Reid, the buffer zone has now been converted into ‘no journalism sector’,” Wadi’s Attorney, Mark Randaza has written in a post about the case on X. He is also representing four protesters who sued Judge Beverly Canon earlier this week.
The state police refused to comment, citing their policy on discussing pending litigation.

One of the plaintiffs, a true crime manufacturer of Connecticut is Mitchell Bryant, whose work has been seen on A&E, Hulu and Netflix. His lawyers say that he was interviewing a person named John Delgado inside the buffer zone on Tuesday.

Two unknown state police officers allegedly told Bryant that they had to go out of the buffer zone and told Delgado that there was “Gota Go” before taking off his sticker from his jacket.
“I don’t want to see you walking again from here,” the officer allegedly identified as John Do 1, allegedly told Delgado.

Bryant, who is also an Amy winner and a lawyer, posted a clip of the encounter on his YouTube channel, where “Justice Save” Podcast has been co-stimulated by a high-profile criminal rescue lawyer and legal analyst Linda Kenny Baden.
Bryant told Fox News Digital that he was not “Free Carren Read Person” and was covering the case as if he had covered several tests over the years when the conversation took place.

“I am not a media?” Darosier, a resident of Massachusetts, asked according to the trial.
“No, you are not,” Hardman allegedly responded.
Both men lodged a conversation and included them in the court filing with trial.
“I think reporters are probably on concrete legal basis,” said Andrew Stoltman, a lawyer in Chicago.
“The judge has full powers in his court to prevent parties or witnesses from talking about the case, but trying to awaken a reporter who is not in court, is very constitutionally very suspicious for both judges and police officers who are trying to implement it.”
