The IPL is coming closely on the IPL 2025 season heels with a five-match testing tour for England, with former India head coach Ravi Shastri opened on a couple of some Left-field options, which he feels that he should cut for the Test Squad which is ready to win the first series in England in 18 years.
Shastri batted for the inclusion of Sai Sudarshan, a Gujarat Titans opener, who attacked the purple patch in the ongoing IPL season. The hand on the left has emerged in running for the Orange Cap race, scoring more than 450 runs in nine outings. Constructing a five -centuries to help maintain his location in the top four with only two weeks of action in the league stage, creating a malignant partnership with Shubman Gill.
Avoiding Suderson as an all-format India prospect, Shastri bowed to Southpo’s county experiences as well as a case for the involvement of 23-year-old.
Shastri told the ICC Review, “I see this young man, Sai Reformson for all the formats of the game.”
“He looks like a class player and my eyes will definitely be on him.”
While his overall first -class average reads 39.53 in 29 matches for only 1957 runs, Sudarshan has recorded a fruitful presence for Surrey in the last two years, scoring 281 runs in five matches with a century and a century.
Shastri said, “Being a left -handed person in England, knowing the position of English, and simply his technique, the way he plays, I think he will be at the top of the list for me, who wants to go to this side.”
Shastri also said that India should take a look at the seam options of their left hand for a test set-up, in which the management is getting an eye on Arshdeep Singh and Khalil Ahmed.

“It can be anyone. It can also be a white ball expert. I do not like this when he says that there is a ‘white-ball specialist’ like Arshdeep Singh.
Shastri commented, “You need a left-bormer, go and find it, whatever is and anyone who is the best-choose them. Kaelle Ahmed, who is again, his rhythm is good, he is bowling well. So it is important to get that mixture,” Shastri commented.
The five -match series, marking the onset of a new WTC cycle, will begin in Birmingham on 20 June.
