Who is old to play rock and rolls? Apparently, Last week concert in London’s Royal Albert Hall is not WHO. It consisted of two main members of the group, 81 -year -old lead singer Roger Daltre and soon 80 -year -old lyricist and lead guitarist Pete Townshend.
Unlike other “senior” musicians and groups such as Bob Dylan and The Rolling Stones, who have well-watered touring machines around them, this respected UK Charity Teenage Cancer Trust (well, two-band, a few days ago had another concert).
And so it had more than its part of the “bumps”, which made only the moments of rock and roll haven more enjoyable.
Guess? These people can still rock, after 60 years of their first top -10 hits, if you are a little angry with age.

Daltre had some of his memorable hand-mike air throw. Okay, rather than hurting the microphone in the air up to 30 feet, they were more sideways for 10.
And Townshend, yes, by its Windmill guitar stroke movements. I counted eight in a row at a time, but for the most part it was one or two at once.
Despite problems and surgery in the past, there was nothing about Daltre’s voice. It still left for rafters on many songs. High notes of the tune “Love Rign O’Me Me” were done with a blockbuster bomb.
And the guitar of Townshend Lix Eric Clapton can stand on any day. (The latter also increased to 80, by the way.) Unique, stylish, no flab.
The Hu (with a good backing band) played some of his early stand-outs. Especially irony: “My generation.” (Key Line: “I hope I will die before getting old.” Ok … maybe not.)
Deaf, dumb and blind pinball wizard, Rock opera about Tommy, found a bright-over, perhaps due to the recent entry of Daltre that their vision (with their hearing) has started going.

Follow-up, Urban Rock Opera “Quadrofenia,” was treated with a deep dive, perhaps plugged the ballet version running in London later this year. it never ends.
But do many people consider his best album, “Huz Next”. “Baba O’Rili” from “Bargain”, “” behind the blue eyes “will not” be foolish again. “
The synthesizer parts might have been pre-ridden … but the key on the key “Blue Eyes” line was fully telling:
“And if I swallow anything evil, put your finger down. And if I tremble, please give me a blanket. Keep me warm, let me wear your coat.”
Guns N ‘Roses’ drummer Frank Ferler left the band after 19 years, new members joined the tour

So … “bumps” mentioned earlier: Townshend admitted that he had a knee-proof surgery a month ago. In addition to some wings (“I am in pain,” “I can’t breathe”), he felt to take it into his strid. Actually, he made it sit through half the songs. (No woodstock-style jumping scissors kicks for him.) But he admitted that it helped him play better.
And Daltre’s earpiece (which helps him stay “in tune” despite that spotted hearing) was working overnight. At one point, they stopped the entire band. Referring to an old ’60s British pop band, “I am not listening to WHO,” he said I am listening to the trogues. “The township said on one side” … it was going very well. “
In fact, two of them, who are known about them, had their ups and downs in the years, often on stage, on the stage, shrinking each other from time to time, but also heating each other … and also the audience.
At one point, the townshed (not necessarily known for their bedside method) thanked the crowd of over 5,000 Royal Albert Hall for all of these years to stick to all of them, and “Geriatrics pretend to be young” to the WHO.
Crowd demographics, I should accept, to some extent in senior party. But enough sons and daughters were present and were entering it to give a hope, if not for the future, at least for the present.

Because we are really looking, sad to say, Rock and Rollers’ second great generation tail and performance. After Chak, Little Richard and Elvis, Beatles, Stones, Dylan … and, yes, The HU.
So it is more than just fun; This is an honor for capturing these final farewells.
Het Hits Hits Townshend, like “You Better You Bet” and “Hu RU,”, along with his panchiers said that he had never played in the concert before. Unreliable, as recorded 54 years ago. Amidst high important praise.
The “the song is over” is called (even from the “Huz Next” album), it was no less than extraordinary. And appropriate.

As the townships worked through refers and lines. And Daltre was truly completely slipped and supported by a permanent mike, as if he could not go further, it ended by singing with them:
“The song is over, the song is over. Except for a note, pure and easy, playing so independent, such as wavy by a breath.”
Except, I take exceptions. The song is not “over”, hoping … still.
