Bernhard Langer was a stroke away from history in Masters on Friday.
The 67-year-old Langer needed to be equal to stay in the 2-over on the 18th hole in Agusta National, which remained below the approximate cut line and became the oldest player to cut the Masters history.
Langer hit Fairway in Par-4 18th, but his approach shot fell from the green edge and rolled into a seating area.

Langer placed his third shot just behind the green fringe and left himself a long equal put. It was a good, but not quite good. It rolled in front of the hole and missed the required equal to cut.
Langer tapped for the bogie and left the 18th Green for the last time as a contestant of another ovation. As soon as he left, he was congratulated by his family and fellow masters winners.
