A repetitive hooliganism on Monday convicted and was sentenced to jail by a repetition in connection with the 2021 murder and house invasion of Rhodes College.
Renus Holmes, now 40, convicted the second degree killing and sentenced to 100%of the 20-year jail sentence, as well as a joint nine years for three separate theft cases.
Holmes, a career criminal with allegations of dating back in 2005, was one of the four men, who broke into several college students in a Memphis Home Housing, consisting of 22 -year -old senior Andrew “Drew” Rainer, on October 3, 2021 at 5:40 am, Shelby County Court Records State.
The remaining residents told the Memphis police that four people with the hoodie pulled on their face and kicked them at their door and demanded the students’ electronics.

The arrest affidavit states, “Andrew Rainer was asked to type in a pass code in his iPad and was shot when he failed to do so.”
Police said the suspects left home with “several phones, gaming systems, video games” and other electronics related to the victims.

When the Memphis police reached the spot, they found Rainer dead with a gunshot wound under a ladder inside the house.
One of the residents of the house was able to track his iPad location to a hotel, where the authorities were able to install a circumference and eventually track Holmes, but he ran away from the area, “A drainage gap jumped and survived the area.” He was briefly placed in the most wanted list of the Tenasi Bureau of Investigation and was detained two days later on 5 October.

The office of Shelby County District Attorney said in a Monday statement that it “worked with Rainer’s family in the entire process” very closely. ,
