The Telangana High Court on Monday banned the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) before using any money for any other payment of day-to-day payment or salaries of employees. Any other transactions need to be created by them, they have to follow the fixed process. HCA has also been asked not to take any administrative decisions till next notice.
A bench led by Justice CV Bhaskar Reddy passed the order after hearing the petition by the Telangana Cricket Association (TCA). The TCA petition also asked for a CBI inquiry into the case of financial irregularities.
“Whatever complaints were filed earlier on irregularities, they were first filed with ACB (Anti-Corruption Bureau). ACB is a state-level body. They had done their work, but did not take necessary action. We thought that all state agencies who can control Calka, or it could be a real reason that they could not move forward, because they could not move forward, because they can’t move forward, Are Bombay and decisions.
Interestingly, counsels of both BCCI and CBI were present in the court and neither of them increased any objection to the matter.
It has also been brought to the attention of the court that HCA President Jagan Mohan Rao, Secretary and Treasurer are signing a check without the appropriate authority.
Gurwa Reddy also claimed that the current HCA Apex Council was divided into two groups with a continuous tug of war for power. “One group is the President, Secretary and Treasurer, the second group is the vice -president, joint secretary and counselor. Therefore, this vice -president, joint secretary and counselor have recently filed a lawsuit, filed a writ petition against the President, Secretary and Treasurer Group, in which allegations have been made with evidence, I think they are investigating the funds, without any authority.
