Taco Bell is bringing back a fan favorite dish, crispy chicken nagets.
Fast-food chain issued a press release on Thursday to reveal that crispy chicken nuggets are returning for eight weeks on 24 April. However, Taco Bell is pushing to create nuggets, which was sold in less than a week when launched in December, a permanent menu item by 2026.
According to the press release, the return of chicken nagets is part of Taco Bell’s “journey to go to go-to-destination for crisp chicken”.
“We have a taco place that is doing chicken in its own way and like all our best moments, it’s a bit unexpected – because we have never been about following the rules,” Taico Bell’s Chief Marketing Officer, Taylor Montgomari said in a statement. “Our nugget’s demand was away from the chart, which is why we are looking to make the crispy chicken permanent to give our fans to give us what they want they want.”
“We know that we do not have a normal name in crisp chicken, but our nuggets speak for ourselves – they are bold, different, and unnaturally Taco Bell,” he concluded.
Nagets are made of all-white meat chicken and a zesty jalepino is marinated in buttermilk taste, before they are breaded with a mixture of breadcrumbs and crisp Tortilla chips.

Customers can buy five nuggets with a needle sauce for $ 3.99, or they can get 10 nuggets with two needle sauces for $ 6.99.
There are three sauces to choose: Hidden Valley Fire Range Sauce, Taco Bell’s Tangi Bell Sauce, and Bold Jalepino Honey Mustard.
When Taco Bell’s crispy chicken nuggets were launched in December, they were sold in less than a week. According to the press release, at that time, “approximately 5 million Americans” bought a nationwide dish, which included the dull “almost an order in an order”, according to the press release.
During Live Mess Live in March, Taco Bell revealed that crispy chicken nuggets are making a comeback this year. The brand shared that they are partnered with Mike’s hot Honey to make Mike’s hot Honey Diablo sauce to go with chicken nuggets.

The company also revealed the plan to launch crispy chicken strips, which would begin as part of the new Burito and Taco menu options.
Last month, Taco Bell’s CEO Sean Treswant, through his Cantina Chicken Menu, told the CNN about the restaurant vision to install himself as a leader in Chicken Prasad, including already chopped and crisp in the tacos, boitos and quadillas. Tresvant stated that the expansion of the menu is an important step in Taco Bell’s strategy to achieve its goal of becoming a $ 5 billion brand by 2030.
“We are not the first person to chicken, but we want to do chicken very specific,” he said. “Chicken is a protein that is trending and we need to ensure that we consumers are relevant.”
