A DHS official told Fox News that 33-year-old Pedro Kolmenres was arrested on Tuesday morning in a multi-agency bust with immigration and customs enforcement (ICE), Chicago Police and US Marshal in the West Side of Sanctuary City.
Colmenares had a warrant for his arrest for allegedly kidnapping and sexual harassment of an ex -girlfriend in September, which the police said he had threatened to shoot.

Prior to Tuesday’s arrest, Kolmenres was taken into custody for questioning in connection with a murder by the Chicago Police last month, but was not accused. Instead, he was issued a separate rape on the domestic battery charge regarding sexual harassment, Fox News earlier.
Since the Fox News report about Kolmenres last month, a new warrant was issued for allegations of kidnapping and sexual harassment, causing the migrants to arrest yesterday.
Kolamenres was arrested on 17 February and his suspected participation in shooting of a 25 -year -old Hispanic in September was questioned for three days.
The Chicago police said the possible reason is present to keep the illegal migrants into custody for murder, but the Attorney Office of the Cook County State asked Fox News to “carefully review” the case and found insufficient evidence and “non -cooperative witnesses”.

Police say she then took the woman against her wish at a separate place in the West Side of Chicago, where she allegedly “suffering and sexually assaulted the victim” in several days.
The CWB reported that the prosecutors dismissed the allegations of hooliganism in the sexual harassment case, citing insufficient evidence, CWB said. Colmenares were killed with rape domestic battery charge and set free on probation. The allegations of rape were eventually removed, but the office of Attorney in Cook County State announced that it found new evidence and a new warrant was approved.
The Colmenares warned for his arrest for allegedly abducting in Chicago and sexually harassing an ex -girlfriend in September, which the police said that he had threatened to shoot. ,

According to DHS, Kolmenres entered the US in September 2022 and was deported by an immigration judge in November of that year. Appealing for the decision of exile, he ended in Chicago.
Two years after the exile decision, Kolmenres returned to DHS radar after a weapon allegation in the Chicago region last year. DHS issued an ice detection on Kolmenres, but due to its sanctuary policy, Cook County refused to detention, and was freed the Kolmenres.
The police records indicate that Kolmenres was first arrested for a broken taillight in Chicago in February 2024, showing that he was driving without a license and without license in unregistered car.
