As spring comes and the weather is hot, contact with sunlight can have great effects on overall health.
Dr. Roger Celebrate, an important care physician, a pulmonist and Associate Clinical Professor at the University of California and Loma Linda University School of Medicine, shared the benefits of sunlight exposure in an interview with Fox News Digital.
Sehult, who recently Dr. Andrew Hubberman’s podcast Huberman appeared to discuss the increase in the immune system at Huberman Lab, stating that the sun from the sun enhances our ability to regulate sleep, circadian rhythm and mood.

Vitamin D is a known anti -inflammatory and antioxidant that supports immune health, muscle and brain function according to the Mayo Clinic.
The Sun also produces infrared lights, which is shown to relieve pain and inflammation.
According to Sehlt, the risk of just 15 to 20 minutes of sunlight can help promote the immune system and to close the potentially chronic disease.

The doctor suggested that skin cancer warnings may have reduced.
“Surely, if we go out in the sun for a very long time for a period of time without safety, we can damage those types of skin,” he said.
“There are some benefits of exit in the sun, if it is done in moderation and if it is cleverly done.”
But the doctor revealed that some recent studies have found that the more time it is spent in sunlight, the less probable people die for all reasons, including cancer.

Dr., a professor of dermatology at the University of Edinburgh. Richard Veller published a piece in the Journal of Investigative Dermatology in August 2024, discussed this data and needed to rethink the effect of the Sun.

Sehult agreed, “encouraged people to reconsider the idea that the sun is a malignant laser and actually some benefits of exit in the Sun, if it is done in moderation and if it is done smartly.”

Those who are fair or sensitive to sunlight can still wear clothes, hats and other protective gears while getting benefits.
“Infrared light, because it is a long-waved, low-energy light, not only able to enter your skin and deep into your body, but it is also able to penetrate very easily through the fabric,” Seholt said.

“If they are still out, they are going to receive infrared light to a large extent, even in that setting, and are not susceptible to receiving (burn). Therefore, you don’t need bare skin to expose sunlight.”
Sunlight still exists on clouds and rain days and in urban areas, Seholt said.
Why high UV index number is more dangerous during sun exposure
“The amount of light inside a building (IS) usually does not exceed 100 lux,” he said. “When you go out on a bright, sunny day, it is 100,000 Lux. It is 1,000 times brighter.”
Although this exposure will decrease in cloud days or in winter, it will not be “almost low” as indoor lighting, Sehelt said.

To withdraw the benefits of infrared light without risk, Seheult recommends going out and covering for about 30 minutes, even in the morning or evening.
“These are the times when there is an abundance of infrared light, more than you meet inside your house,” he said.
“All this is about 15 to 20 minutes of infrared light risk … and we are looking at the effects that last for days.”
For those who work in an office and spend hours of their daylight, Sehult suggested taking small brakes and step out in light or green space.
He said, “All this has a infrared light risk of about 15 to 20 minutes at the level of mitochondria, and we are looking at the effects that last for days,” he said.
Composite and modern methods
Sehlt shared her hope for balance between modern medicine-which includes progresses such as medical-grade oxygen and antibiotics and overall health trends.
“There are definitely modern invention and things that are very beneficial for the human body,” he said. “What I would like to do is to include both together.”

He said, “There is a complete loss based on things that are required and supply chains, especially in Pandemics,” he said.
“Sunlight and fresh air … are not things that depend on the supply chains. We have the most timely sunlight accessible of the year.”
