Scientists have dismissed the belief that the use of the equipment is unique to mammals and birds, after documenting tropical fish, which breaks the shellfish against the rocks to open and eat in an attractive new study published in the journal, which published in the journal. Coral reefs On 26 March 2025.
Dr. of the School of Natural Sciences at McVarry University. Juliet Tarial-Adam used a project tracking tool in many species, which is a colorful rock fish in many species of species.
The study logged the fish deliberately raising a hard-sheked hunting like crabs and molluscs, dazzling them against rigid surfaces such as rocks to use food from inside.
“The use of the tool is usually associated with humans, but this behavior is proof that fish are more clever than fish,” Dr. Tariq-Adam says.

Researchers in Australia, Brazil and Caikos Islands have provided the first evidence of the use of Envil in many species of hallicres, suggest that behavior is more common than earlier thoughts.
Races use hard hard surfaces, also known as ‘envils’, which is to crack open hard-sheked hunting such as crabs and mollusks. Through a civil science initiative Use of fish equipmentResearchers gathered 16 new comments in five species of hallicorace chairs.
These findings mark the first evidence of the use of Envil for three species and the first video evidence for the other two, and expand the known range of use of Envil for Western Atlantic.

“With these newly discovered equipment-use species, it becomes clear that many species use wrestling devices, which we did not know earlier,” Dr. Tariq-Adam said.
Kyulum Brown, head of Fish Lab’s head and senior writer at the University of McCweri, says that the study says research in fish intelligence. “They use flexible and skillful equipment, which expand our understanding of development in the animal empire.”
