San Francisco-Stephen Curry divided the defenders of two Denver Nugets, knocked on a 20-foot bridge-up shot, while flying and allowing his legs to scream.
Curry and Golden State Warriors continued to make noise on Friday night, winning their fifth straight game with a 118–104 win over Nagates at the Chase Center.
“(There is a) a feeling of urgency under the stretch,” Curry said. “Where you are in standing, every game feels this. And the idea that ‘how do we win this particular game?’ Gets a little more important.
He said: “We get away from it. That is why we have been so successful for many years. Because as the stakes grow, the light becomes bright, we go to the level.”
Curry has increased its level. He made seven 3-pointers and scored 36 points to defeat the nuggets. In the last three matches, Curry has scored a total of 125 points, according to ESPN Research, a player is ranked second for Lebron James for most points in three-markets, 37 or older.
“37 in three different cities,” said Warriors coach Steve Kerr. “He looked out so fast tonight, and I think it is probably the lowest part of his game, he is his conditioning. Just what he does from there, is simply incredible, especially given how much he attracts attention, how much he attracts attention, how much he puts people, and he handles and thrives at night after night.”
Since the Golden State acquired Jimmy Butler before the trade deadline, the Warriors have been a completely separate team, going 21–5 as Butler made his debut in Chicago on 8 February.
During the all-star weekend, Driven Green announced that Warriors would win the championship with Butler. This week, he made a statement. Warriors won three straight games, feeling like the playoff games, defeating teams who are currently above them in Western Conference Standing.
The Golden State (46–31) won an important game at Memphis on Tuesday to achieve a tiebreaker on the grizzle. On Thursday, he defeated the Los Angeles and then returned home after spending 14 days on the road and took care of Danvar in the second back-to-back game. Friday’s victory lost the line in Nagets (47-31) on Nine-Game.
Curry, whose three-point drama pushed Warriors with 15 to 2:30, asked if Warriors were playing like a team at a championship level.
“We are playing like this,” said Curry. “We have a lot of work. I am saying that since this run started. We still have a lot of work to strengthen the year. You are looking at an identity at night and night that we understand how to win the game. Is this game where the tempo is very fast or if it is a grind-out game. Two months ago.
“Just to be able to get into a playoff chain for us, we understand what we are able to do, and whether you are predicting it or speaking it in existence or whatever is it is confident. So just ride that wave.”
The warriors have been riding his speed since Butler’s business. Curry and Green are rejuvenated and plays like Brandin Podzamsky, who had 26 points against Nagets one night after scoring 28 against Laks, growing up with Butler.
On Sunday, warriors face Houston Rockets, which currently ranks second in the West. The Golden State aims to stay out of the top six and the play-in tournament.
“We have just gained momentum,” Kerr said. “Memphis was probably bigger to kick this three-game stretch. And so these victory won against three teams together, at that time in standing, beyond all of us in standing.
“We have five games left, we know that we have got four of them to win to guarantee the top-six spots, so we just have to go on.”
