    Fruits like melons and watermelons help you keep you hydrated in summer.

    Pregnancy is an ideal time to taste local and seasonal vegetables, which are abundant during the summer season. Vitamins, minerals, healthy carbohydrates, and rich in fiber, fruits and vegetables provide you with energy and perfection. They are also beneficial for your skin and hair during pregnancy. Additionally, they prevent constipation by promoting healthy digestion and bowel movements.

    Pregnancy is called one of the most beautiful trips that a woman can experience in her life. Saying that, it is also an emotional and physical high and a roller coaster ride. Maintaining a healthy lifestyle and eating a balanced diet is important in this journey of enthusiasm and fear. Being pregnant makes you careful about everything, including the need to eat nutritious diet. While the heat is just around the corner, pay attention to include these foods and avoid your diet.

    Food to add to your diet in summer

    • You have to add watermelon and melons to your diet because they are filled with water, which helps you to stay well hydrated.
    • Vitamin C-rich foods including peach, plum, lemon, kiwi and guava also help in iron absorption and immune building.
    • Apple is a great source of fiber and iron, which makes them ideal for adding them to your diet during pregnancy.
    • Avocados, which are high in fiber and healthy fats, give you balanced nutrition in summer.
    • During pregnancy, a woman often suffers from foot cramps, which can be avoided by adding bananas to your diet.
    • Rich in vitamins A and C, mango is the best seasonal food to add to your diet.
    • To stay hydrated, consume lots of water, lassi, coconut water, buttermilk and lemonade.

    Although they are high in sugar, foods such as bananas, watermelons, watermelons, mangoes, chicu, and grapes can also increase blood sugar levels and if you already have, gestational diabetes can spoil diabetes.
