Starbucks will start getting more picked up when it comes what their barsists are wearing.
On Monday, the coffee series announced that a new dress code would be implemented from May 12. The previous dress code is allowed for any color and top of bottles, hats, footwear and external clothing, which are to be black, gray, navy, brown, khaki or white.
The new dress code requires employees to wear a solid black shirt either a cruc, collar, or button-up. The shirts can be short sleeves or long sleeves. Employees should also wear bottles that have any shadow of khaki, black or blue denim.
“By updating our dress code, we can provide a more consistent coffeehouse experience that will also bring simple and clear guidance to our partners, meaning that they can focus on what it matters the most, preparing great beverages and promoting connections with customers,” The news released.
At the top of the new dress code, the company revealed that they would provide employees with two company-branded shirts.

The company’s first quarter earnings report showed that its comparable store sales in the US have declined by 4 percent year on a year.
The new dress code is one of the many changes this year, which has been applied to Starbucks. Last month, the company announced a menu change, where it would get rid of 13 drinks.
Starbucks stated that the drink is called goodbye that “usually not bought, may be similar or similar to other beverages on our menu.” This change officially came into force on 4 March.
These late drinks are: Iced Matka Lemonade, White Chocolate Mocha Frappukino, Espresso Frapukino, Chai Crame Frappukino, Carmel Ribbon Crunch Crame Frampukino, Double Chocolate Chip Crum Frampukonino, Chocolate Kurmpinino, White Chocolate Crampino, White Chocolate Crampino, White Chocolate Crampino, White Chocolate Crampino, White Chocolate Crampino, White FrappucCino, Java Chip FrappucCino, White Hot Chocolate, Royal English Breakfast Latta, and Honey Almond Flat White.
In place of these 13 objects, the Seattle-based company introduced three new pics: iced lavender cream Omilk Matka, Iced Cherry Tea, and Iced Lavender Omilk Latte. Starbucks also added Jalpino chicken pockets and spicy pockets to select places.
The new “spring edit” of the coffee giant company included a classic corto and a brown sugar Omilk Corto.
Starbucks CEO Brian Nicole for the first time announced a 30 percent menu reduction in January during the company’s first quarter income call.
He said, “We have taken steps to resume business, our mission and our marketing to better align with our identity as a coffee company,” he said, according to People,
“We have to clean the noise in both food and drink menu. It opens the door for better innovation which is expected to echo even more for our customers.”
