In 1895, Wilhem was experimenting with Cathod rays, a German professor of physics called Rontzen when he stumbled on an accidental discovery that would change the field of medical science. While executing the experiments, he saw a strange glow in a fluorescent screen in his laboratory. As a result, a new type of radiation was identified, which he called “X-ray” due to his unknown character. Recognizing the medical uses of this technique, Rantagen quickly took the world’s first X-ray image for the first time of the human body. The mythological picture was of his wife’s hand, which wore a ring, which was the beginning of a new era in diagnostic medicine.
SpaceX Fram2 mission receives historical X-ray imaging milestone in space
Röntgen made his success since more than 130 years, Spacex Fram2 mission Crew re-introduced its classic X-ray photo, but did so in space this time. The Fram2 mission rode a spacecraft carrying four astronauts on a historic journey on 31 March 2025. The Fram2 mission initially intended to introduce the first polar class human space -Prakash. Supported by Maltese Cryptocurrency Tycoon Chun Wang, his three fellow colleagues were also included in the campaign, first on polar operations with him.
The Fram2 mission took three and a half days, during which 22 research was used by the crew. These tests differ from viewing the Earth’s poles and carrying out biological research, such as cultivating mushrooms, for more scientific discovery, such as creating X-ray images of the human body in space. The first X-ray image taken by the crew was one hand, which was similar to Renagen’s first image, but this time was taken in special circumstances of space. This test was the first time X-ray imaging was employed on the human body while in space.
Fram2 crew expands X-ray imaging in space
After successfully copying the X-rays of the hand, the crew of the Fram2 tested the possibilities of this technique more. The crew increased its clinical imaging beyond the X-ray of the hand, causing X-rays of other parts of the body such as cells, pelvis, stomach and chest X-rays. The crew applied X-ray techniques to diagnose the electronics of their spacecraft, in addition to human health imaging, to demonstrate the appropriateness of X-ray imaging in space.
In addition, the crew depicts the functionality of the DXA (dual-energy X-ray absestiometry), a type of special X-ray imaging that determines the amount of bone density, as another area of technical achievement for the mission.
Framan returns to Earth for post -flight research of cream team
On returning from the successful mission, the Fram2 crew’s SpaceX Dragon Capsules flexibility flexibility safely landed in the Pacific Ocean from Ocenside, California on April 4, 2025. Astronauts were recovered by SpaceX Dragon Recovery Shannon and moved to NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston. He started the post -study study as biometric trials and experiments, which aims to understand how microgravity seems to be on the human body.
With the leading function of the Fram2 mission, the integration of space exploration and medical technology has been taken to unprecedented levels, which proves the promise of future studies and applications beyond the planet Earth.
