Beyard ended his second season with the rebels, giving him a sweet 16 appearance, where he lost a 2—-seed Michigan state. In two years in Oxford, it is 44–24.
He has strong connections for the state of Texas, going as an undergraduate at the University of Texas and coaching in seven colleges in the state. He took Texas Tech to the National Championship Game in 2019 and spent a season and one and a half season in Texas, before he was fired after an arrest on a hooliganism of a hooliganism on charges of domestic violence.
Beard has held four programs in the NCAA tournament, winning at least one game in all six demonstrations in the competition.
Texas A&M wants to replace Williams, who left to take over in Maryland on Tuesday. Williams were at the college station for six sessions, leading the exigies for each of the last three NCAA tournaments.
