Lloyd will now be ready to become an unrestricted free agent after this season.
Lloyd was the 27th overall pick in 2022 and Jaguar left the 33rd overall pick, his fourth round pick and the sixth round pick Tampa Baukeners to return to the first round to get him.
But while Lloyd has set concrete data in its first three sessions – 355 tackles (they led the team with 113 in 2024), four insertion, 19 pass breakups and four fambal recovery – they have struggled in coverage nearby and are issues of being out of the situation.
Lloyd is the third one of the first round pics of Jaguar from 2020-22, with its fifth year option, the first round cornerback CJ Henderson (Ninth Total, traded in Carolina Panthers in September 2021) and linebacker Kelvon Chason (20th total).
Earlier this month, Jaguar announced that he was choosing a fifth year option on the defensive end Toven Walker, which he had drafted as the first overall draft in 2022.
