“Every small thing has a positive or negative effect on small businesses, so it is definitely an effect, Randy Masteror, the founder and CEO of Sushi confidential, told Fox News Digital.
Muster and his staff were looking for a person who allegedly went out on the bill at two separate cheers during several visits. When the man returned to the main place of the restaurant in Campbell, the workers immediately recognized him as an alleged thief.
“I got a call from one of our managers, stating, ‘Oh my Gosh, the man who is eating and dashing in our campbell place is on the courtyard right now”, “said Muster.

Musteror and his team quickly prepared a plan to confirm whether the man intends to steal his food, eventually handed over his check to him because his food was left and was waiting to pay immediately. When the man woke up to use the bathroom, he knew that he had dasher.
“The minute he got up, I knew that something was about to go down,” said Musteror. “Then I received a text message from the manager, stating that he ran out of the front door.”
According to the Campbell Police Department, Musteror called the police and after a brief discovery, the suspect was allegedly arrested in a total number of about $ 140 for stealing two.
The suspect has been accused of three cases of cheating on one of his faces and arguments are to be argued the next month, the office of Santa Clara District Attorney confirmed Fox News Digital.

“Nobody likes to take advantage of it,” said Musteror. “Whether it is your money or someone else’s money, when you just see something like this, you want to catch the bull from the horn and help solve the problem yourself.”
Officials say that the task of stealing from small businesses is not a aggrieved crime, and can result in real -life results for local business owners and their employees.
“Dine-end-dash incidents create additional financial strains at the restaurants that are already facing economic challenges,” told Fox News Digital, president of the Illinois Restaurant Association, Sam Toya, president of the Illinois Restaurant Association. “I always say that before the epidemic, the restaurant industry used to be an industry of nickel and dims. Post-pandemic, it turns into a business of Penny and Nicks, and these food-and-dash events are creating additional financial strains.”
Incidents related to dining-end-dashing have attracted extensive attention as criminals are repeatedly stealing from the same place or posting online about their crimes.

A few weeks after the muster’s dine-end-dash incident, another group of thieves made headlines to get out on the bill at the Chicago restaurant.
Three women going to the city’s Sol Vibz restaurant made a tab of more than $ 200, celebrating Alfredo, Chicken Wings and many drinks, celebrating birthdays, Fox 32 First reported,
After finishing their meals, the three waited for their server to leave before leaving the restaurant, but allegedly posting a picture of their dinner on social media, tagging the restaurant and thanking them for free food.
According to Fox 32, the Chicago Police is investigating the incident and a police report has been filed.
Sol Vibz and Chicago Police Department did not immediately respond to the request of Fox News Digital for comments.

According to Toia, restaurants visiting their bills since the epidemic have included visitors. Within the restaurant industry they insist on provoking dine-end-dash crimes, forcing businesses to compensate for losses on consumers, which pay their tabs.
“This doesn’t just hurt the owner of the restaurant, it also hurts the team members,” Toya said. “It damages the weightstaff, it harms the boys of the bus, it damages the bartenders. People come to the restaurant for food, but they come back due to service. So if you do not have a happy Vetstaff (because of these dine-end-dashing events), you all make unhappy and other customers are feeling it.”

The toia is asking communities to come together to protect small businesses and local workers, while the government may not be the same as financial resources as more major chains.
“Large chains may be able to absorb some damage, (but) small and independent restaurants often do not have financial cushions to overcome theft,” Toya told Fox News Digital. “A bad month can keep out of an independent restaurant business, closing them for good.”

As the owner of a restaurant, Musteror stressed that he is used to experience the collapse of running a business, but the most heartbreaking part was seeing how crimes affected his employees.
“Unfortunately, as the owner of a small business, you got to take your punches,” Musteror told Fox News Digital. “All these small things that happen are the cost of doing business, but when a server feels that they ‘run their small business’ and do not use those challenges. So it definitely causes them a lot of damage.”
