Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accuser named in sexual assault case against Harvey Weinstein
Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs and Harvey Weinstein have been accused of sexual assault by the same woman.
Crystal McKinney, who sued Combs in May 2024 for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting her, has been named in a similar complaint against the film producer, 73.
The May 30 amended complaint—accusing Weinstein of raping the model and a friend in a Manhattan hotel room in 2003—was initially filed in February 2025.
Per the filing, McKinney was approached by an unnamed modeling company executive via a phone call for a business meeting with Weinstein at a popular West Village lounge in the evening, People Magazine reported.
McKinney said she went with a fellow modeling friend and roommate in hopes that she could also be considered for an acting role.
Once the meeting commenced at the lounge, Weinstein allegedly “repeatedly told them that he wanted to get to know both of them better so he could see their ‘real selves.’”
McKinney claimed that Weinstein suggested moving the meeting to “discuss potential acting roles” to his place since the lounge was “too loud and crowded.”
Upon reaching the hotel room, the film producer “plied” them with alcohol, ordering several bottles of “Boulevardier and Dom Pérignon” and “vodka cocktails,” the complaint alleges.
At one point, Weinstein groped McKinney’s upper body and “tore at her tank top,” which caused drinks to spill on her shirt.
The complaint detailed that her friend joined her in the bathroom to help, at which Weinstein also “barged” in and “demanded the women strip and take a bath with him” before exposing himself.
McKinney said she and her friend “complied with his request” as they felt “backed into a corner and feared that he would retaliate against them if they refused his sexual advances.”
The complainant added that the producer “raped” her and her friend before he “abruptly left the hotel room.”
Weinstein’s earlier 2020 conviction for rape and sexual assault—which sentenced him to 23 years in prison—was overturned in April 2024 after the New York Court of Appeals ruled he didn’t receive a fair trial because women uninvolved in the charges were allowed to testify.
He is currently serving jail time on Rikers Island due to his 2022 convictions for sex crimes charges in California.
