Next to his team’s struggle against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Chennai’s Super Kings captain Ruturaj Gikwar has said that Derby was the second most anticipated face after Mumbai Indians.
Gaikwad was speaking especially at JISTAR’s “Star Nahi Door” program and spoke of his bond with fellow captain Rajat Patidar, with whom he is a friend. “In fact RCBs are eager to play against, especially as the new captain with the kingdom (Patidar). Immediately when he declared Rajat as captain, I messed up him and greeted him. We are friends for some time, we really know each other well, and of course, RCB is one of the strongest teams.”
