The Ukrainian tennis player Anhanhalina Kalinina refused to join hands with her Russian rival Veronica Kudematova after the earlier victory of Rome’s Masters in Italy in Italy.
Talking to reporters after the match in Four Italico, Rome, Kalinina said, “We did not shook hands because the girl is originally from Russia. It’s no secret why I do not move, because this country actually attacks Ukraine.

Kalinina, who came to the tournament, ranked number 47 in the world as compared to Kudematova at number 1, won three sets in 7-5 5-7 6-2.
