After chasing the third gradual chase in the IPL 2025 season, Rajasthan Royals are staring at the door to exit soon this time. Taking the ground without captain Sanju Samson, Rajasthan died at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium for a 11 -run defeat to Royal Challengers Bangalore, extending his losing streak into five matches, his longest in 15 years.
It was also the seventh defeat of the Royals in nine matches, leaving him in the eighth position in the standing. However, India batting veteran Sunil Gavaskar did not return the lack of Rajasthan’s application under Head Coach Rahul Dravid.
‘Where is the idea process?’
“I am really talking about the previous matches where I was not on the ground. I saw them. So, you are not always able to feel what is really happening. But here, I was on the ground, and you could really see the kind of cricket that was being played.
Gavaskar commented, “Dravid was always so accurate in his thinking, and I felt that such an approach would have turned into some batsmen in Rajasthan.”
Gavaskar soaked Rajasthan’s structure as a major defect in the team’s perspective this season, banking on youth to lift heavy.
Gavaskar said, “Where is the idea process there? You cannot always expect inexperienced players to be right, but still … it is just a different kind of cricket.”
