While the cricket world is waiting for the return of the Indian Pesar Jasprit Bumrah Post a back injury, it has been said that a 31 -year -old man can return to competing cricket for Mumbai Indians in the ongoing Indian Premier League. Bumrah, who was backing back during the Sydney Test at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy earlier this year, started bowling in the nets in NCA Bengaluru earlier this week. Shane Bond, a bowling coach and pacer of former Mumbai Indians, believes that the Indian pace Spearhead needs to take his time to return to competitive cricket.

“Psychologically, this is a challenge. I still had many times when I was actually closed with my back, my muscles under my back will be cramps. I always tell my players, take a week at the front end and save you six months. It can save you a little more time in your preparation and leave your build-up, but will give you a better chance.

Bumrah first faced a low back tension fracture in 2019 and was sidelined for a major part of the year due to injury. In 2022, the Indian Pacer again faced issues, which saw him remembering the Asia Cup and T20 World Cup before undergoing surgery in 2023. The Indian Pacer then missed the World Test Championship Final and 2023 IPL and spent four months in rehabilitation in NCA Bengaluru. This year at the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, Bumrah bowled a total of 151 overs before facing back cramps during the final Sydney Test. Asked if Bumrah should change his bowling action, Bond responded to negative. “I don’t think so. Jaspreet Bumrah had (2023) surgery, but he played incredibly (Australia) Test series. At the end of the day, he just bowled a lot over a month’s period. The matter, he is probably going to get the same result.

Former New Zealand Paer also believes that the Indian team management should not make the mistake of bowling Bumrah in the five -match Test series in England later this year. “But what India has learned is, if you watch a five-observer match series in England and they do the same result, then they are going to get the same result. So you can’t do this. You can’t do this. You need a squad of bowlers where you can pick and choose. Because if you lose it, you have got the T20 World Cup, you have got a world cup of 50 overs and you have got a 50-over world cup and all the duties in all the drafts, you have got an important member, that kind, that kind, that kind, that kind, that kind, that way you have got a world cup, that kind, that kind, that kind, The goods of, ”Bond said.
