Washington: The office of Inspector General of Pentagon on Thursday announced that it was opening the use of an undesken commercial textile application of Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, coordinating the highly sensitive March 15 of the US strike on Yemen’s Hothis.
In a memorandum addressed to Hegseth, the office of the Inspector General said that the use of Hegseth’s signal fulfilled the guidelines of the Defense Department, including classified information.
Hegseth repeatedly stated that no classified information was revealed in the chat, even though it included the exact time for the launch of the US aerial attack and some targeted details that are considered closely as a closely protected mystery ahead of a surprising military operation like one in Yemen.
The chat details were accidentally included by the Atlantic magazine, after its editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, accidentally involved in conversation, which led to a shameful incident involving President Donald Trump’s most senior national security officers.
The case has not even investigated Hegseth, who confirmed the Senate after only a cruel review, which raised serious questions about their experiences, nature and ideas on women in the war.
“The purpose of this evaluation is to determine to determine the extent to the extent to the use of DOD policies and procedures for the use of a commercial message application for the official business,” Steven Stabins, Acting Inspector General wrote.
“Additionally, we will review the compliance with classification and record retention requirements.”
Hegseth recited a plan to kill a fighter terrorist leader in Yemen two hours before the military operation began and included accurate details when F -18 fighter jets, as well as sea -based cruise missiles would be launched.

Hegseth’s text began with the title “Team update” and these details were included according to Atlantic:
“Time Now (1144 ET): Weather is favorable. Just confirmed w/cencom we are one for mission launch”
“1215 ET: F -18S launch (first strike package)”
“1345: ‘trigger-based’ F-18 1st strike window begins (target terrorist @ is its known place so should be on time-apart from this, Strike Drone Launch (MQ-9S)” “
“1410: More F -18S launch (second strike package)”
“1415: Strike drone on the target (this happens when the first bombs fall, the first ‘targets’ are pending ‘the first’ targets)
“The 1536 F-18 2 strike begins-apart from this, the first sea-based Tomohx was launched.”
At the end of the text series, Hegseth said that the mission “Was Clean on OPSEC” – a brief name for operational safety – no leaks, even though the reporter was on the text chain.
If the Houthi leaders knew that a strike was coming, they might be able to escape, possibly in crowded areas where targeting is more difficult, and potential citizens may be considered to be much more to move forward.
On the Senate’s Pentagon Oversite Committee, Jack Reid, the top Democrat said that a leak put us at risk.
Reid said in a statement, “Secretary Hegseth’s blunder has potentially fatal consequences chilling.”
“Whether his chat messages were obtained by intelligence Hauthis or any other opponent, it would have allowed them to replace arms to target their pilots with dangerous accurate intelligence.”
In the indication of sensitivity, the Central Command of the US Army has provided more details about its ongoing operations in Yemen, including basic information such as the number of strikes so far.
Asked about the details about the campaign, which started from March 15, a Defense Officer – provides a written response on the condition of anonymity – proverbs:
“Centcom will not provide details on the strike until the operation is finished and there is no additional risk for American personnel or assets.”
Acting Inspector General, Stabins said that the review will be held in Washington, DC, as well as at the Central Command Headquarters in Tampa, Florida.
“We request that you designate two points of contact for this evaluation within five days,” he wrote in the memo, which was also addressed to Hegseth’s deputy, Steve Phinberg.
Although it is rare for the great Inspector General to investigate the US Defense Secretary, the office recently investigated Hegseth’s East, Lloyd Austin, the Defense Secretary of President Joe Biden, Lloyd Austin, who was being admitted to his secret hospital last year.
Trump became the Stebins Acting Inspector General in January after a shootout at the independent watchdog and other agency Watchdog of the Defense Department during his first week.
