Growing in Ashok Vihar New Delhi, Priyash gained freedom when he came to cricket, but his parents, both by profession, ensured that he also did well in his studies. Priyansh’s father, Pawan Arya, told the Indian Express, “When he used to say that he was seven years old, he wanted to play cricket. I was fine with it, but since I am a school teacher and my wife (Radha Bala Arya) is also a school teacher, we ensured that he got good education,” Priyash’s father Pawan Arya told Indian Express.
