Princess Beatris has finally opened up about the birth of daughter Athena.
In an essay for CirculationBeatris shared an emotional update about his daughter, Athena Elizabeth Rose Mapeli Moazi.
The daughter of Beatris, whom she shared with her husband, Edordo Mapeli Moazi, was born in January, weighing only four pounds and five ounces, several weeks ago.
Prince Andrew’s daughter Beatris of Duke of York admitted, “Nothing prepares you for a moment when you realize that your child is going to arrive early.”
She remembers thinking, “Will she reach healthy? What complications will be there? How will you wake up the rest of the family life while trying to keep a small human being safe and well?”
“You know that when your child arrives, doctors and the rights are going to be there, they can do everything they can make sure that he makes it through the first few days challenges,” the Beatris continued. “But you don’t know how these things will play, what happens next. Uncertainty leaves you with great fear of unknown.”
Beatrice revealed that routine scan had indicated the need for close monitoring, and doctors warned him to prepare for initial delivery.
Despite the concerns, he expressed deep gratitude to medical professionals that ensure the safe arrival of Athana.
Additionally, Princess Beatris highlighted the importance of women’s health, “In many ways, the longest, women’s health has been left from the agenda.”
Beatrice admitted that thankfully Athena was born in health, “She was so small that it took more than a few weeks to dry tears and to feel real for life with our healthy baby. Her legs were so small – almost the same size shape as the size of my elder daughter.
“I am very happy to tell you that Athena is really really good, I have some more answers what has happened, but still there is no exact explanation,” said Princess Beatris.
Apart from Athena, Princess Beatris and Adoardo Mapeli Moazi also share a daughter Sienna.
