Princess Anne, Princess Shahi, on Thursday continued the royal duties amidst their brother King Charles health concerns.
According to the Royal family, at the Buckingham Palace, Princess Anne was reunited with the Rovers Quad, who won the gold for the team GB at the Summer Olympics in Paris 2024, as she was presented with her MBE.
Princess Anne is an honorary president of the British Olympic Association.
Palace shared the photo on Instagram and said, “Another medal for Lola Anderson, Hannah Scott, Georgian Breshw and Lauren Henry!”
It further said, “Char Rovers won the gold for @Teamgb at the Summer Olympics in Paris 2024, where she was presented by Princess Shahi with her medal.
“At the Buckingham Palace yesterday, his Royal Highness was re -met with the quad as he was presented with his MBE – congratulations to all of you!”
King Charles was forced to cancel his appointments on the day and Friday after the Royal family’s post on Thursday suffered “side effects” from his cancer treatment.
The palace said, “After scheduled and ongoing medical treatment for cancer this morning, the king experienced temporary side effects, which required a short period of observation in the hospital.”
