Prince Harry’s Inviction Games Foundation (IGF) has made a major announcement after Duke quit the post as a charity patron with ‘Heavy Hearts’.
Prince Harry and Prince Sisiso issued a joint statement to reveal their ‘disastrous’ decisions about the resignation from Santabel, stating that “With heavy hearts, we have resigned from their roles as the patron of the organization till further information.”
A few days after Harry’s decision, the IGF announced, “The Inviction Games Foundation is now accepting the expression of interest for potential cities to host the Invocks Games 2029.
“The inauguration of the process for the INVES Games 2029 was announced in the INVES Games Vancouver Whistler 2025.”
Further statement stated, “Cities that are interested in hosting the Invictus Games, the Inviction Games Foundation needs to provide an expression of interest (EOI) with 2-3 pages: proposed effects, vision and inheritance; funding; governance;” proposed effects, vision, and heritage;
The EOI submission time limit is not since 16 May 2025.
The Inviction Games have been held 7 times in the last 10 years, with the previous hosts London, Orlando, Toronto, Sydney, The Hague, Daseldorf and Vancouver whisler.
