Karachi: On Friday, a local court sent to police custody for two days in the case of Kamran Asghar Qureshi -Prime suspect, Armaghan’s Mustafa Aamir murder case – in connection with the possession of illegal weapons and drugs.
Qureshi was arrested on Thursday by the Karachi Police’s Anti-sensor Crime Cell (AVCC), which was from Armaghan’s residence in the Defense Housing Authority (DHA) Khayban-e-Momin in the neighborhood.
The police presented him before the court of Judicial Magistrate (South) before today. The court asked the suspect whether he was under any torture.
Meanwhile, Deputy Public Prosecutor Shakeel Abbasi requested the court to provide three -day physical remand to the police to the police, saying that he needs to interrogate the supply of weapons and drugs. He argued that the investigation team had the right to investigate, as Qureshi was a clever person who was not cooperating.
The defense counsel said Qureshi was arrested outside his house on March 18 and was only defending his son, who was already in custody. The prosecution alleged that the accused had threatened the officers and others, directed his son to hide after the murder of Mustafa, and issued a threat through social media with all the evidence on the record.
The court said that when the defense claimed that there was no private witness or case property, the prosecution had presented evidence related to the case in the court. The court directed that Qureshi should be given a copy of the FIR, permission to undergo a medical examination and meet his lawyer.
Additionally, the court directed the employees to take the suspect to the chambers for medical inspection.
Qureshi has been booked in the case of alleged possession of Ice (drugs) and 9 mm pistol.
Kamran’s arrest follows the fifth expansion of the anti -terrorism court (ATC) of the physical remand of the prominent suspect in connection with Mustafa’s kidnapping, murder and drug trafficking case.
The investigating officer (IO) had earlier revealed that Armagan had accepted the entire incident after Mustafa’s murder in his father, saying that his father had advised him to leave and hide Karachi, assuring him that he would also move the software house to another place.
The participation of the federal investigative agency (FIA) and other institutions in the high-profile case is also investigating various aspects.
Mustafa Aamir murder case
Armaghan revealed the entire saga after setting fire to a team of AVCC – a special unit of Karachi Police responsible for dealing with murder and forced recovery – during a raid at his residence in DHA, Karachi on 8 February.
The body of the deceased – on January 12, a car near the hub checkpost was found by the police and was buried by the AD Foundation on 16 January – was buried by his family after confirming the identity in the initial DNA report.
Meanwhile, the police have already handed over the laptop recovered from Armaghan’s residence along with their mobile phones along with their mobile phones.
In addition, the Black-end-silver American iron folding rod, allegedly used by Armaghan to defeat Mustafa, was also recovered from the hub area, an official confirmed the news.
The police considers this recovery as a major success that will greatly strengthen the case against Armaghan and help secure his punishment. The officer revealed that Armaghan is no longer the same as before.
