A powerful earthquake rocked South -East Asia on Friday, killing many people, bringing a skyscraper in Bangkok and topping buildings and bridges in neighboring Myanmar, where the ruling Junta declared emergency situation in some areas.
At least three people were killed in Tangu city of Myanmar when a mosque partially collapsed, while the local media reported that at least two people died and 20 were injured after a hotel collapsed in the Aang ban.
In Thailand, Bangkok Governor Chadachar Cititipant said the earthquake caused three deaths. He warned of a potential afteroxic, but urged people to calm down and said that the situation was largely under control.
Thailand’s National Institute of Emergency Medicine said that at least one person was killed and dozens of workers were rescued from under the wreckage of the skyscraper.
Witnesses said that people fled the streets of Thai capital in panic, many of them used to shock the hotel guests bathub and swimming in a luxury hotel in a luxury hotel.

Mandalay is the ancient royal capital of Myanmar and is in the center of Buddhist Heartland in the country.
Social media posts showed buildings and debris collapsed on the streets in the city. Reuters could not verify the post immediately.
Local media outlet Myanmar now posted images showing a clock tower and was part of the wall in ruins by Mandal Palace. Witnesses in the city, Hate Nying OO told the Reuters that a tea shop was stuck with many people. “We can’t go inside,” he said. “The situation is very bad.”
At least three people died after a partial collapse of a mosque in Tangu, two eyewitnesses told Reuters.
“We were saying that when the shocks started … died on three occasions,” one of the two people said that he spoke to the Reuters.
Local media reported a hotel in Aung Ban in Shaan State, fell into the rubble, with an outlet, a democratic voice of Burma, two people died and 20 were trapped.

Pakistan hit Myanmar, Thailand and neighboring countries, expressing deep grief over the devastating earthquake.
